An Interview With Federicati

Here we are on yet another Friday and subsequently a brand new exclusive interview for you guys to get to know your Hard working JJ Editors a bit better!
For this week I’ve decided to bring you guys the story of an utterly humble yet absolutely creative JJ Editor! Therefore, Here I present you guys the ever-glorious Federicati (@federicati / @jj_editor_federicati)!
Yup! As you might have already guessed, we’ve got a true Italian spirit who’s not shameful to let you explore in various corners of her life just to make you understand that she’s nothing short of a talented, fun and hardworking JJ Editor that we are blessed at! So without further ado let’s begin this!
Federica who insisted that she likes to be called as “Fede” amongst her close friends is an Italian lady who lives in the “Grado Island” located in the north eastern part of the Italy! Upon reading Fede’s answers I’ve come to know she happens to be a dream-wife, a caring mother, an active businesswoman and indeed a talented photographer / JJ Editor! (Phew! Fede I’m wondering how you find enough time to practice all of this so immaculately?!)
Fede joined Instagram a few years ago and just like many of us she found about the JJ Community by seeing “JJ hashtags” attached to random pictures popping out on IG! Subsequently she got acquainted with the @jj_editor_nselmo having her first shot featured by him on JJ Community’s daily themes and just like that she turned into a lifetime follower! (Guys! Let’s go off-topic for a second, isn’t there somebody out there who has not already received at least a feature by the ever-awesome @nselmo?! Seriously this guy Rules!)
Throughout this interview I’ve come to understand “Grado Island” is infact Fede’s “La isla Bonita”! (Oops! Madonna’s Calling!)… at many points she admitted that she loves living there more than anywhere else, she does her business there, lives her life along with her husband and her toddler there, cooks great food with the natural blessings of the island and more importantly “Grado Island” made it possible for her to have this tiny island as a dream spot for the finest of photography subjects all captured through her camera’s visor! (Hey! Fede I guess at this point you should invite us all to this Dreamy island! lol)
Some quick facts about Fede!
- Fede married last October and is blessed with a 16 month old lovely boy.
- She claims Needles and Fabrics are her favorites, thus calls herself as a talented “Crocheter”!
- Pasta and Smoothies are her signature meals; She’s not only a fan to consume them but happens to able to prepare them immaculately as well!
- Fede’s choice of photography is her trusty iPhone 6 and she uses VSCO to touch up the shots with it.
- Vivian Maier is Fede’s latest inspiration in Photography.
- 2014’s Christmas Eve is Fede’s happiest day so far as she gave birth to a lovely boy!
- Summer happens to be her favorite season as she always embraces sun, sand & lovely friends to hang out with!
- Fede claims her favorite color is Bright Green, but for some reason she always end up wearing Black dresses! (lol…)
- And finally “Go Your Own Way” happens to be Fede’s lifetime motto!
Fede mentions she had attended some Photography courses a few years ago but admitted that she has always been fascinated by the concept of photography since she was a tiny girl! She would always cut-out human faces with scissors off the family photographs and would later glue them into the bodies of animals in her coloring books! (Oh dear! At this point Fede thinks she must have been the unknown inventor of the Photoshop application!) lol… all in all, her passion to photography remained alive and kicking despite the fact that these days Fede works as a Real estate agent! Fede adds her cameraphone is always by her side thus she’s ready to “point and shoot” whenever inspiring moments are within the reach.
I Asked Fede about her point of view regarding photography and she came with the most credible answer! She claimed Photography is a unique tool to express feelings without saying words at all! Moreover She added the concept of JJ’s “Create to Connect” happens to be indeed valued to her as she also sees it as a tool to able to reach and be in touch with new people for sake of having the same passion!
Alrighty! I believe by now you should have got acquainted with Fede quite well, but before I wrap this up there’s something else that I would like you to know about this dear soul! I asked to what extent she’s ready to help “people in need” and she instantly jumped in by saying “Is it an Invitation to help someone in need? May I be the helper? Where shall I Go?” …. That I think is the most precious answer I’ve received in the longest time and it deserves giving it a big credit! I’d say caring and loving individuals like Fede are surely the backbones to the JJ Community! Thank You Fede!
